IS THE NJCAA A GOOD OPTION?

The NJCAA…well firstly, what is it? The NJCAA stands for National Junior College Athletic Association. They are two year community colleges that are used as a pathway to NCAA or NAIA colleges. While often frowned upon, it feeds some of the top athletes into D1 NCAA colleges and is on par with D1 and D2 athletic competitiveness.

So, is it a good option?

It is a great option for students that haven’t met the academic requirements to get into NCAA or NAIA schools, as well as for those that have a smaller budget as NJCAA colleges are much cheaper.

Students go here for two years, studying core courses and training / competing as you would in the NCAA or NAIA. After the two years is up, many transfer to the suitable division level in NCAA or NAIA schools.
